Nassali Sanyu a widow who lost her husband Dickson Wasawa in land wrangles between State minister of water Ronald Kibuule in Kigaya village found in Buikwe district vowed to drag him to court.
Nassali who was at Mukono court with other residents wants court and president Yoweri Museveni to penalize Kibuule whose guards caused the death of his husband in broad day light during a forcefully eviction.
She claims that her husband was care taker of entire family but currently since his death they are suffering with nothing to eat.
Nassali he wants Kibuule and police officers who caused death of her husband to be charged before courts of law.
Mushagara Aggrey lawyer to the residents of Kigaya who stormed court says that they have filed a main petition challenging Hon Kibuule who’s claiming to be a rightful owner of this land of Kigaya.
Aggrey says they have put an injunction before the presiding judge to prevent Kibuule from terrorizing the residents while court continues to listen to their case.
Residents who are in great fear claim that currently they do not have what to eat due to destruction of their crops and properties.
Mukono high court registrar Flavia Nabakooza adjourned court to Monday 30th, next week when court will start handling the petition.
