Residents of Lwanyonyi village in Nama sub county Mukono district and works of Igar petrol station are in shock after a bomb was discovered at the fuel station.
The bomb was discovered at the premises of Somali owned fuel station along Kampala – Jinja highway, near the fence by one of the works.
The management of the fuel station informed Mukono police which asked assistance from Kampala bomb squad team that come and removed it that which took it three hours to remove it safely.
After which police carried out a entire check up of the fuel station premises and the fuel tracks that were packed around.
The bomb was had been hidden in a wooden box with wires connected to it leading behind the bushy fence of the fuel station.
From a wooden box where the bomb was being hidden, they had connected wires from it smeared with petrol and connected to fuel tanks of petrol station of Igar.
Mukono DPC Seguya Rogers and fuel station management refused to give a comment about the incident.
Bomb squad later drove away with the boom.
