The residents of Buikwe district accuse the resident district commissioner Nasser Munuulo of grabbing land which resulted in destruction of 2 acres of coffee plantation.
It’s alleged that Munuulo deployed police officers without court order and cut down 2 acres of coffee plantation and banana belonging to Ssalongo Samuel Kibuuka.
Ssalongo Kibuuka is in tear after two acres of coffee and banana plantations were destroyed in presence of police from Buikwe station on orders of RDC Nasser Munuulo.
This happened at Kituula village located in Najja sub county in Buikwe district in which Munuulo worked in alleged to court ruling of 1999.
Its alleged Munuulo RDC went to Buikwe police and asked escorts from the station and took them and directed them tom guard people who had pangas.
The gang in command of RDC and protection of police started cutting down coffee and banana plantation while threatening to deal with any resident who may confront them.
When the finished slashing the plantation the started marking plots of 50 by 100 in presence of Buikwe RDC being ready for sale.
According to Samuel Kibuuka says that the RDC used Bernard Kisitu who claims to be the owner of land and hired men backed by police.
Kibuuka explains that the court case the RDC based on of 1999 ruled in his favor saying that he should remain as a kibanja holder and Kisitu as a land lord but not to evict him.
According to residents on the village say that they tried to intervene to rescue the situation but police vowed to shoot them.
Officer in charge of Buikwe police station Gustoni Tunamasiko who refused to speak on camera says that for him did not deploy any police officer he just gave them to RDC as escorts.
When Buikwe RDC Nasser Munuulo was contacted in phone he refused to say anything about that incident.
