Un-Wanted Witness Uganda has trained journalists from districts of greater Mukono on how to use E-Media {E-Business}.
Majority of Journalists are facing economic hardships but not knowing that indeed electronic channel of communication can be a real business that can redeem their live-hood for good.
Without alteration, decades have come and go with a lot of challenges even up to today that portrays journalism with an image of a bad act in hot soup to the would be tomorrow journalists.
Unless the present journalists of those born to cover, write and broadcast News do it politely but not insisting on having a say in what their profession ancestors DID NOT DO on behalf of their
cherished industry.
Many of Journalists {Veterans} take us on a pell-mell dash back to 1960s yet not many Journalists want a repeat of the event where media functionality was on one house {State Owned UBC Radio}.
However, a silent few started to wonder whether recent development like licensing and wave monitoring by a state organ {UCC} could result impact and also challenges escalating on Journalists with no cure would be addressed.
NOW DAYS
Due to demand of change from analogue to digital migration this has also forced media owners to move to global Connection of Computers {Internet} to justify their ability on the new era.
Journalists being the major source of fuel that runs media, some have remained back in terms of Economy due to certain obstacles.
Congratulations should be upon those ten {10} Uganda Media based Associations, East Buganda Journalists Network {EBJA} registering the ninth position with Un-Wanted Witness.
According to members of EBJA that attended the E-Media {E-Business} and investigative Journalism engagement with Un-Wanted Witness at Hotel Alvers in Mukono last Week registered their appreciation, that now they are going to trend with digitalization.
“E-Business in Journalism profession can help someone to moon light as well moving on with the job if you capture the basics” EBJA Members added.
BUT to those who have been messing up UN-WANTED WITNESS Uganda is an NGO across the entire Country that embraces Media Associations and advocates for E-Media {E-Business}.
According to Dorothy who led Un-Wanted Witness Secretariat delegation called for togetherness as the journalists’ trend with un cautionary job of Today, Tomorrow and years to come.
However special thanks goes to Un-Wanted Witness Uganda that have managed to boost media Associations across the Country to undergo technology that associates network of Networks leading to global Connection.
