NRM youths in Mukono Municipality have attacked the ruling government and legislators over their intentions of amending the 102/b act of the constitutions to uplift the age limit the president is meant to be in office.
They claim actions of this kind are catastrophic in nature and deny them a chance to exercise their potential in leadership if mentors become tormentors.
They’ve warned all legislators from Mukono district to be prudent enough while amending the constitution saying they risk facing consequences of their actions.
Saying this in their meeting held Tiamo Gardens in Seeta being led by their Chairman Patrick Ssekatawa.
Ssekatawa says that instead of these members of parliament of removing age limit they could have tabled a motion of smooth transition of leadership from one person to another.
They warned their four members of parliament not to support this move if they do so they will fight them.
The four MPs representing Mukono in parliament who belong to NRM include:
Peace Kusasira Mubiru Woman MP
Ronald Kibuule Mukono North
Robert Kafeero Ssekitoleko Nakifuma County
Johnson Muyanja Senyonga Mukono South
