Mukono municipality youths vow to block speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga from passing through Mukono town while heading to his district of Kamuli.
These youths led by Alan Mawanda also councilor at Mukono central division says that Kadaga should use a chopper if she wants to head to Kimuli.
Mawanda says that they are doing this to show their discontent towards Kadaga of how she has handled the issue of lifting presidential age limit.
He narrates that up to now Kadaga has not apologized to members of parliament who were injured when security operatives’ raided parliament which left even area MP of Mukono municipality injured and hospitalized.
Julius Ssemakula who represents Mukono central division in district council says that atleast Kadaga could have first directed parliament to deal with issues which are affecting Ugandans.
He explains that the problem of the country is not about age limit but there are so many issues which are affecting Ugandans which parliament has failed to deal with or find solution.
Ssemakula argue that this age limit motion is aimed at satisfying only one person which has taken attention of majority members of parliament forgetting to fight for common Ugandans.
Some councilors from Mukono municipality praised area Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze Bakireke for fighting age limit bill which is intended to have a life president.
Municipal speaker Hamiyat Nakigudde says that they taking Nambooze as their hero because of not keeping quite during the amendment of constitution.
Currently Nambooze is still in hospital nursing injuries she sustained during the raid of parliament by security agents.
