State minister for water and Mukono North Member of parliament Hon. Ronald Kibuule has denied accusations that his body guards deployed at Kigaya Landing site in Buikwe district beaten residents of this area which resulted into death of one resident Wasswa Diika while at Mulago hospital.
Kibuule says guards at the landing site are not executing his duties rather a government arrangement to curb the increasing number of crime cited at the landing site including smuggling, abuse of environment among others.
He agrees to be a bonifide occupant of 85 acres f land at this landing having bought it from Namasole Sarah Natolo of ssekabaka Mutesa II on block number 369 and only has 146 squatters with 7 compensated through legal means.
However, He has called on police to conduct thorough investigations into the cause of death to Wasswa Diika and accomplices to be brought to book.
Further he warns politicians taking this as an advantage to build political capital citing out the former Member of Parliament for Buikwe south constituency Hon. Dr. Bayigga Michael Lulume to stop tarnishing his name rather to take right procedures into the matter.
However is when you visit this area where Kibuule has this land residents are in greater fear the security operatives deployed by this minister are terrorizing them day and night.
Residents claim that they are being beaten and also ladies allege that they are being sexually assaulted by security men plus eating and destroying their food crops.
This is not the only area were residents are complaining about the behaviour of minister Ronald Kibuule even residents of Namataba village found in Nagojje sub county Mukono district are facing the same problem.
In Namataba because of Kibuule behaviour even a government secondary shool toilet was destroyed and he failed to construct for them a new one until parents fundraised within themselves to rescue the situation.
Currently residents in both districts are asking government to come and rescue them from this minister Kibuule who is terrorizing them.
