Two security guards have been hacked to death in Mukono district during the night when thugs attacked Kiwanga village and robbed residents.
The deceased have been identified as Geofrey Afeko and Muhammed Twinamasiko who have been working as security guards one at home of Sarah Opio and another one at home of Lydia Tumwebaze.

This incident happened when one of the guards had visited his neighbor to have a conversation during the conversation that’s when they entered the house.
It’s alleged that after notice unwanted visitors the deceased security guards tried to rescue the situation that’s when the thugs hacked them to death.
According to village chairperson Richard Lugoloobi Kasirivu says that the thugs stormed the village at around 2:00am and they were moving house to house.
Defence secretary Vincent Mugerwa says that it was difficult to rescue the situation because the attacked families failed to direct the rescue team.
The villagers attacked police force after seeing Kampala Metropolitan East commandant Patrick Alinyo saying that they constructed a police booth but up to now there is no any single police officer in it.
Alinyo says that police tried to reach out and rescue the situation but due to unmarked roads they failed to trace the location.
The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Mulago hospital for postmortem.
