A business man in Mukono Patrick Mubiru commonly known as WACITY Motors is accused of selling stolen vehicles in his car bond found in Mukono municipality. According to a man identified only as Ssalongo a resident of Seeta trading center accused Mubiri of selling to him a stolen vehicle after he was arrested with it.
In a security meeting held on 30th, December 2016 by AIGP Fred Yiga the resident informed the gathering that one day he went to buy a vehicle in WACITY Motors car bond which he did not knowing that it was robbed from someone.
After using it for sometime he also sold it to someone else from Busoga region where he was arrested while driving it and brought them to one Ssalongo who bought it from WACITY Motors.
The owner of this car bond was arrested and detained at Mukono police station but was released by police after getting order from one of powerful minister in Mukono district.
It’s alleged that DPC himself Boniface Kinyera drove WACITY in his car from police back to his home without even carrying out any further investigations into the matters.
When WACITY hard this he rushed to the meeting to try to defend himself on the allegations alleged on him but he couldn’t convince the gathering.
Fred Yiga who was the chair of the meeting warned DPC Boniface Kinyera to stop listening to orders from above when someone has committed a crime. Yiga said that this matter of WACITY he is going to handle it in his office. End
